- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪5 star - Highly recommend!! Recently our 3 furr babies stayed at Ascot cat care while we went to Melbourne for 7 days this was the longest we have EVER spent without our babies. From the first phone call to Jay & Shannon we had a good feeling about them with no doubts (they were actually recommended to me by my local vet). Our eldest cat Milo is an insulin dependent diabetic who requires injections twice daily and he is also on oral medication once a night, this was NO issue for Shannon and Jay because Shannon is a vet. Our other cat has a heart condition and this was also no issue at all for them.. I really couldn't recommend them highly enough to Anyone.. We already have friends wanting to switch who they board with after hearing about our great experience with Shannon and Jay. It was very personal Shannon and Jay are a married couple who run the business and both have a big heart for animals, our cats really took to Jay and they got cuddles every day and every time i messaged and checked in I got msg's back with updates and pictures. The boarding house was very clean and secure with aircon and a large playing area with lots of bedding and toys and it was very homey with comfy sleeping areas there are NO cages and I had nothing but good feelings when I left them there... one of our cats is very timid with other people.... I couldn't believe it when I came to pick them up he was smooching all over Jay and wasn't bothered about coming home.. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Shannon and Jay are fantastic! They treat your kitten/cat just like their it's their own beloved pet. They send lovely updates via email/text even with pictures, which I found wonderful when it was my first time going to a cattery. They are also vets, which is such an additional bonus.
